What Is Root Canal Therapy?

Root canal therapy is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or infected. During the procedure, the damaged or infected pulp is removed, the inside of the tooth is cleaned and disinfected, and then it is filled and sealed. Finally, a crown or filling is placed to protect and restore the tooth to full function.
